The photos below show the different eras of my
custom work over the last 25 years.. The blue
plaid jacket is made from fabric which I hand wove
on my loom. The black silk jacket has beaded
serpents on the lapels and pockets. The cut
velvet coat has beaded lotuses. See the

Express your own
individuality and creativity by designing and sewing your
own clothing and accessories (or home decor). You will create something
of superior quality and save quite a bit of money at the
same time.
The show “Project Runway”
is inspiring people to express their originality and
creativity.
I have extensive experience sewing and designing just about
everything and I still love it. I have never followed
trends, I am always in search of the unique. I want to
share my knowledge and passion, as well as the resources I
have discovered for the most beautiful fabrics, buttons and
trims. I have a collection of
vintage books, pictures and patterns that can
serve as inspiration.
I want people to appreciate
beauty, quality and fine workmanship. When you make
something by hand, there is such a wonderful sense of
accomplishment and fulfillment.

CLASSES
- I keep the class
sizes small so I can focus on individuals and the skills they
want to develop. If you are interested in a specialized
class, please e-mail or call to let me know what skills you
would like to develop, whether you have your own machine, how much
sewing have you done or none at all, as well as what your
interests are; ie. making clothing from patterns, or designing
your own, making custom window treatments, pillows, etc. so I
can group people together with similar interests. Below is
list of some of the classes and workshops I am offering. I will add
specialized classes as people request them. I give classes on Saturdays, and
weekday mornings and late afternoon/early evenings, so let me
know your availability. Group classes are $15 per
hour. I also
give private lessons at $40 per hour if you prefer. See
below for some of the classes offered. |
